Studying at the French School on a student visa

The French School has access to a limited number of student visa places for those who come and study in Australia not accompanied by their parents.
The visas are reserved for students in première and terminale (French system), in Year 11 and Year 12 (in the International Baccalaureate system).
Due to the large number of candidates, the school carries out a selection process.

To receive an application form, you can contact either:

  • The director of studies, who is in charge of the IB section (to study in English)
    or
  • The school registrar

Please note that for all students who study at the French School on a student visa, school fees must be paid for by the family, as well as accommodation fees in the host family. These students will not be eligible for free school fees in première and terminale.
