Discover how Sydney Harbour has inspired poets and painters by:
- Reading twelve poems about the harbour quoted by Virginia Howard in her article: “Depth of feeling” (SMH 3/1/2011). You will study these poems and learn one of them by heart (…/5).
- Writing your own poem on Sydney Harbour which will be illustrated by the students from the Grande Maternelle (…/10)
- Researching the painters mentioned by the journalist (Conrad Martens, John Olsen, Brett Whiteley, Ken Done …) and their paintings of Sydney Harbour which you will show the Grande Maternelle students.
