"Scorched" by Wajdi Mouawad Year 11 and 12 students have an extra hour of English each week to study Film and Drama Appreciation. On 27 August they saw the play "Scorched" at the Belvoir Theatre in Surrey Hills with the Headmaster Mr. Cappe and the French Teacher Mr. Lejosne. The Year 11 and 12 IB students also attended with their teacher Ms Futia. The Biennale of Sydney 2008 Nearly half of Years 11 and 12 students are new to Sydney. They explored some of the exhibits of the Biennale of Sydney 2008 guided by their classmates who have been in Australia longer. It allowed them to discover Sydney Harbour and to get to know each other better by sharing strong opinions for or against contemporary art. Students were required to visit part of the Biennale that was on diplay at Cockatoo Island and complete assignments about their experience which were explained in the attached sequence instructions.
