Applications are now invited for enrolment in school year 2008/09 (Year 11). In addition to the expected number of students from the school’s own Year 10 cohort a maximum of approximately 10 places exists for enrolment of students who are enrolled in schools either in Australia or overseas. The French School of Sydney is also CRICOS registered and welcomes students wishing to join the school on a student visa.

Please note:

  • Lycée Condorcet – The French School of Sydney operates on an August to June calendar
  • The IB courses will be conducted in English. Candidates must therefore be able to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, on a level that allows them to participate meaningfully and successfully in the course
  • All IB students at Condorcet will study French as their second language. In accordance with IB regulations this language may be offered on various levels (Language A, Language B, or language ab initio).
  • For details on the Diploma Programme, see www.ibo.org/diploma/index.cfm. The final decision on which subjects will be offered may depend on the number of actual enrolments.
  • Different enrolment procedures apply to different student backgrounds. Please, go to enrolment options and follow the guidelines.
  • Before acceptance into the programme, the school’s IB coordinator and/or principal will conduct an interview with the applicant, either in person or by telephone. Furthermore, an English language test may be required.
  • Enrolment will be made on a first-come-first-in basis. Enrolment will be secured, when the school fees have been paid. Late or unsuccessful applicants may be placed on a waiting list.
  • All students accepted into the IB program will be expected to support actively the school’s ethos and abide by its rules and regulations.

For all questions regarding enrolment in the International Baccalaureate course contact the school’ IB coordinators:
Mrs Nadège Spella-Barberet or M. Colin Brown at this address: IB@condorcet.com.au.
