Senior secondary school (lycée) - Towards Higher Education

Lycée Condorcet offers two different curriculums for Senior High Schoolsecondary school and to qualify for higher education:

  • The General or French Baccalaureate (FB) of the French Ministry of Education. Recognised internationally, the FB allows students access to higher education in France, Australia and the rest of the world, including preparatory classes. The syllabus is studied for three years from Year 10.
  • The International Baccalaureate (IB). The IB is a diploma taught only in English and is also accepted by higher education institutions around the world. Students can start the IB in Year 11 at Lycée Condorcet if they have completed Year 10 at the school. If they are coming from an Australian school, they must take the IB Prep program for the first six months of the year before starting the IB 11 in August. As our school operates on the northern-hemisphere calendar all courses begin in August and final examinations are held in May.
