Reception Opening Times
Starting tomorrow, the reception will be closed to parents from 8.00 to 8.50 and will reopen at 8.50. This is to avoid the gathering in front of the reception during the drop-off in maternelle and to ease the flow during the drop-off to limit the interaction between parents.
Changes to Mask Requirements
While in indoor settings in schools, masks or face coverings are required for all staff and all students in year 7 and above. Masks are strongly recommended for primary students. (NSW Health advice for families)
Students in year 6 at LCS are considered Secondary students and the school decision is that they will follow the same conditions as the rest of the secondary school.
In outdoor settings (outside of a building) – staff and students are not required to wear masks.
Inside buildings (classroom, corridors, offices, canteen (unless eating) – staff and students in Secondaire are required to wear masks at all times.
If any secondary student has a medical exemption from wearing a mask, please contact us and a Risk Assessment will be put in place for that student (infirmerie@condorcet.com.au).
Primary school students are strongly encouraged to wear masks when indoors.

Update:
A few days experience has shown that we could achieve the limitation of interaction between the classes and cohorts by reintroducing the tray for the self service of the students and stop the use of the bento boxes. This will help to win time for the school assistant to focus more on the mitigation of the risk of interaction between classes and cohorts and on supervision and student individual attention. This adjustment will be in place by Monday 25th October.

As previously announced in our newsletter, the canteen will be open from the 18th of October. Lunch serving times will be staggered and slightly adapted. Meals will be served to the students at their tables in order to limit movement and mixing of year levels.
Canteen per semester: The canteen fees will be invoiced on a pro-rata basis according to the date of return of your child (18/10 or 25/10/21). The invoice will be sent to you by email at the end of October.
Important: Casual Canteen – There will be no sale of canteen tickets at the reception for one off meals. Instead parents must pre-order via Eduka minimum 1 day beforehand, via the module “Casual Canteen”. An invoice will be sent to you at the end of each month.
Please note that no meals will be served without prior registration on Eduka.
