Child Labour Project

In March and April, our Year 5 students will be participating in a reflection session on child labour around the world. The global non-profit organisation, Ressources Humaines Sans Frontières (RHSF), will be visiting each class and running activities along with the teachers to help students better understand this concept. The students will also reflect on how this relates to the International Convention on the Rights of the Child that they are studying as part of their fifth grade citizenship course.

About RHSF: RHSF is an NGO that focuses on research and experimentation on the prevention of child labour and forced labour. The RHSF is a partner of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and works in several countries on alternative management approaches that reduce the vulnerability of populations to indecent work.
