The Lycée Condorcet team is made up of over 150 dedicated staff members who work daily to provide quality education to your children. This includes our management team, the administration, maintenance and IT teams, native French-speaking and native English-speaking teachers and teaching assistants. LCS also has a Vie Scolaire team, a French particularity that assists students outside of class, a student wellbeing unit, a career guidance officer and many other specialised staff members committed to giving your children the best possible education and support.

Abdellatif Achiq
Principal
Abdellatif Achiq joins Lycée Condorcet de Sydney (LCS) as Principal. Holding a PhD in Physics, he began his career teaching mathematics and physical sciences at secondary level, while also lecturing at the University of Caen Basse-Normandie. He then moved into school leadership, holding senior positions in several schools across France before joining the network of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). From 2021 to 2026, he served as Deputy Principal at Lycée Français Jean-Mermoz in Dakar, where he contributed to the school’s educational and strategic leadership and supported both staff and students in an international and multicultural environment. Abdellatif now brings his experience and expertise to Lycée Condorcet de Sydney. His leadership is guided by a clear ambition: to combine the excellence of French education with an international outlook and the school’s strong Australian identity, while supporting LCS in its continued development.
Antony Jonkx
Deputy Principal
Originally from Franche-Comté, France, Antony earned a law degree in Aix-en-Provence. A seasoned traveller, Antony has served as Chief Education Counselor around the world - in France, the United States, Morocco, and Vietnam - and as deputy principal in Bolivia before joining LCS in 2015. He oversees the entire pedagogical management of secondary education and exam organisation.
Patrice Possenti
Primary Director
Hailing from Lyon, France, Patrice studied economics and history. After gaining extensive experience teaching classes from kindergarten to CM2, he later took on roles as a teacher trainer and educational advisor. Teaching since 2005, Patrice transitioned to leadership positions. He joined LCS in 2023, after serving as the primary school director at the French Lycée in London and San Francisco. His interest in languages, sports, and digital applications in education will undoubtedly contribute to shaping a dynamic and fulfilling learning environment for all our students at LCS.
Visal Kaing
Business Director
Visal Kaing joins Lycée Condorcet de Sydney (LCS) as Business Director (Directeur Administratif et Financier). He holds Master’s degrees in International Law and Legal Anthropology from Paris I and Paris V universities. He began his career as a lawyer before joining the French Ministry of Education, where he first worked in secondary education institutions (EPLE) and later within the CROUS network, notably managing university dining operations. He subsequently joined the Nouméa Court of Appeal, where he worked alongside senior judicial officials to strengthen cooperation between the justice system and customary authorities. He then shifted his career towards the administrative and financial management of schools within the AEFE network. From 2021 to 2026, Visal served as Director of Administration and Finance at the French School of Kuala Lumpur, where he notably contributed to the school’s strategic development as part of the “Eurocampus” initiative. Drawing on this international and multidisciplinary experience, Visal now brings his expertise in law, financial management and school leadership to support the continued development of LCS, working closely with the leadership team and institutional partners.
Rosa Rusnak
Director of Compliance
Rosa Rusnak, a Compliance Director originally from Italy, has spent her formative years in Sydney. Armed with qualifications in IT, she has garnered extensive experience in corporate and international settings across Australia and the United States. For the past 25 years, Rosa has been dedicated to the realm of independent schools, specialising in school regulation and compliance. Alongside her professional pursuits, she holds a diploma in counselling and maintains a keen interest in fostering student wellbeing.
Craig Ashe
Head of human resources
Appointed as Head of Human Resources in 2022, Craig collaborates with the Leadership Team to nurture an innovative and caring workplace culture for all our staff. With over 25 years of management consulting experience in the Independent schools sector in New South Wales, as well as roles in corporate development in the government, banking and financial services sectors, Craig has a keen interest in organisational behaviour, with a special focus on change management programs.
Elise Lombrage
Marketing, events and Communication director
Originally from Marseille, Elise studied philosophy and communication at Sorbonne Paris IV before starting her career in New York as an event producer. She later gained experience in Paris, São Paulo, and Sydney working with entrepreneurs in the luxury, real estate, art, and culture sectors. In charge of communication, marketing, and events at LCS, Elise fully invests her energy and dynamism in serving the LCS community, actively seeking opportunities to promote the institution locally and internationally.
Camille Brun
Senior Education advisor - Junior High School
A passionate traveler, Camille has chosen education as her true human adventure. For her, each student is a unique encounter, a story to understand and support, with its own strengths and challenges. As Dean of Students at Lycée Condorcet de Sydney, she guides young people in building their identity and projects, while leading a dedicated team at their side. Together, they strive to provide a framework of trust, care and high expectations, where everyone can find their place and grow with confidence. Her goal is to help students embrace curiosity and openness, ready to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.
