LCS offers students 3 graduation diploma options

IB

International
Baccalaureate (IB)

The IB diploma programme is a two-year end of secondary school program available at schools in 150 different countries across the globe.

The programme is rigorous, challenging and extremely rewarding, with pupils able to choose their own subjects and focus on areas that they are interested in and passionate about. The diploma, taught in English but with French as a compulsory subject, is globally recognised and renowned for preparing well-rounded students that excel in higher education and international careers.

French
Baccalaureate (BAC)

The French Baccalaureate, the ‘Bac’, is an internationally recognised diploma which is often considered a reference when evaluating general cultural knowledge, critical thinking and academic progress.

The programme is demanding, comprehensive and adaptable, with a wide range of subjects, specialisations and options including science, geopolitics, mathematics, sports, literature, philosophy and foreign languages. The programme is taught at a native French level, with C1 being the recommended level for students joining the programme.

BFI

French Baccalaureate International Option (BFI)

The international version of the French Baccalaureate Diploma is called the BFI, le Baccalauréat Français International.

This diploma is an integrated Franco-British school-leaving certificate, combining the French Baccalaureate, taught in French at a C1 level, with extra subjects examined to English A-level standard studied over the course of two years.
