LCS Flash mob 2020

LCS Flash mob 2020

Part of the Distance Learning In Physical Education (P.E.) consisted in proposing physical activities for the students to do at home and, therefore, our teachers created several diverse challenges: STEP, strength and conditioning, etc... This enabled them to, on the one hand, carry out physical activity and obtain all the physical and psychological benefits linked to exercise, and on the other, to validate skills in work organisation, project planning, the use of certain digital tools and so on. Among all these, Mr Honthaas founded a challenge which emerged from the EPS Mania collective, and brought together more than 11 ,000 P.E. teachers in France and in the AEFE - Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger network. Mr Honthaas' challenge was a "flash mob", and consisted in a dance choreographed by several participants who did not know each other. This flash mob has since been brought to life by more than 70 P.E. teachers, and has been taught to more than 50,000 students in over 180 schools in France and abroad, through the following video tutorial.

Click here to watch the LCS students' version of the flash mob, involving 20 primary school classes accompanied by three high school classes. A wonderful sharing experience, bravo to all the students involved, to our primary and secondary school teachers, with a special thanks to Sandrine and Christophe for their commitment!
